OVERVIEW

Franconomics is an annual event initiated by the Institut Francophone International (IFI), under the sponsorship of the National University of Vietnam in Hanoi (UNVH). The 1st edition organized in Hanoi and Hưng Yên province on October 23-24, 2019 with the theme "Digital technology for the development of economy and smart society" attracted the participation of delegates from 25 countries. 

The 2nd edition of Franconomics 2020 focused on the theme « From start-up to smart-up » organized in Hanoi and Hưng Yên on October 22 and 23, 2020. In the program, the main activity - the international conference entitled « From start-up to smart-up » - was enriched by other activities such as the National Anthem Singing Festival of International Students (2nd edition), the inauguration ceremony of the Hưng Yên digital museum and the International Conference with the theme « Smart tourism: toward the sustainable development, a harmomy of economy, culture and environment ».

Franconomie - 2021 co-organized by IFI, OIF and the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF) with the theme « Digital transformation for sustainable development » will focus on issues of South-South cooperation and technological integration in key areas of socio-economic life, including education, agriculture. As part of Franconomics - 2021, in addition to the plenary session, an international conference will also be organized on the subject of smart agriculture - potential and reality; and the 3rd National Anthem Singing Festival for international students of Hanoi universities.

INVITATION

Digital transformation is an inevitable trend in society that creeps into every area and affects organizations and individuals all over the world. Consisting of adopting digital processes and tools, digital transformation helps improve productivity, save and optimize resources for sustainable development. Public and government players as well as major digital players see it as a promising economic and financial challenge; but where and how to start digital transformation is still a big question.

To contribute to the exploration of theories, trends and practical issues, as well as for sharing of experiences in the process of digital transformation in different fields, IFI and OIF in collaboration with the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF ) will organize the Franconomics 2021 – an international conference with the theme “Digital transformation for sustainable development” on November 24 and 25, 2021 in Hanoi. This event will have the participation of partner organizations such as: Enterprise Development Foundation (EDF - VCCI), Institute for Africa and Middle East Studies (IAMES)… The organizers are pleased to invite the scientists , experts, entrepreneurs and investors to attend and share their experiences at the conference.
